• Absolutely. You purchase a license for the number of users that you want to have accessing Frameware 2000+. You then can have them simultaneously using the many programs that make up the system. This can include multiple individuals entering orders at the same time, while others are entering inventory receivings or cash receipts, or other functions.

Once that is done, you are ready to begin processing orders. Orders can be readily entered into the system by responding to clear and concise screen prompts. Automatic alert features advise the order entry personnel of credit problems and inventory stocking levels as the order progresses. Even special issues related to individual accounts such as a problem customer or the need to obtain a purchase order number from the customer can be brought to the attention of the person entering the order.

As each item on an order is entered, the price is instantly calculated and the proper amount of inventory is committed to the order. A running total of the order is maintained as each line item is entered. If an insufficient quantity of an item is in stock to complete the order, the order entry personnel can backorder the item, or display and suggest acceptable substitutes, or cancel all or part of the quantity ordered, or ignore the reported shortage. Upon completion of the order entry process, a special read-back screen is provided to enable verification of the order with the customer.

When the order has been verified, the order department can produce the picking list on demand. The items on the picking list are automatically sorted into bin location sequence to enhance the efficiency of picking the materials. Additionally, a series of labels can be produced when the picking tickets are printed. Specifically, shipping labels for the cartons, chop labels to identify each of the frames when they are wrapped, and corner sample labels to adhere to the samples are generated.

Once the order is ready to be shipped, you can tell Frameware 2000+ if there are any changes to the original order. You can even have the system calculate the proper freight charges based upon the shipping method, weight and destination of the merchandise. If desired, you can have the system produce the C.O.D. tags for your shipment. You then can produce the professional-looking invoice.

Whenever you elect to do so, you can have Frameware 2000+ post your invoices to your accounts receivable system and prepare a sales journal for your records. The committed inventory is then removed from the quantity on hand.
